Aphantasia is a rare condition known as a “blind mind's eye” that inhibits visualization. It is often overlooked by medical professionals because there is no acute method of diagnosing it. Further research on aphantasia, however, may reveal relationships with other conditions such as Asperger's syndrome and autism in general.
