The idea that everything in the world changes, repeatedly undergoing the fate of arising and disappearing, and that nothing remains eternally unchanged. The idea that life is fleeting and empty. One of the three marks of existence fundamental to Buddhism: “all formations are impermanent,” “all phenomena are without self” (shoho muga), and “nirvana is peaceful” (nehan jakujo).
世のすべてのものは、移り変わり、また生まれては消滅する運命を繰り返し、永遠に変わらないものはないということ。 人生は、はかなく虚むなしいものであるということ。 仏教の根本的な思想である三法印の一つ。 「諸行無常」「諸法無我しょほうむが」「涅槃寂静ねはんじゃくじょう」をいう。
