The Bellman equation expresses a necessary condition for optimality in mathematical optimization known as dynamic programming, and is named after its discoverer Richard Bellman. Also called the dynamic programming equation. It describes the relationship between an initial choice at a particular time and the value of subsequent decision problems. https://scrapbox.io/files/64c65832d7fd03001c21e8e7.png
