Bayesian inference (Japanese reading: Beizu suitei; English: Bayesian inference) means probabilistically inferring matters one wishes to estimate (causal events responsible for observed events) from observed events (observed facts), based on Bayesian probability. Bayes' theorem is used as its fundamental methodology and gives it its name.
