Claude Achille Debussy was a French composer. Composing with modes beyond major and minor scales and free harmony unconstrained by functional harmony, his unconventional use of scales and harmony made him one of the most influential composers from the late 19th to early 20th century.
クロード・アシル・ドビュッシーは、フランスの作曲家。長音階・短音階以外の旋法と、機能和声にとらわれることのない自由な和声法などを用いて作曲し、その伝統から外れた音階と和声の用い方から、19世紀後半から20世紀初頭にかけて最も影響力を持った作曲家の一人。
