Paul Erdős, Erdős Pál (original surname: Engländer; March 26, 1913–September 20, 1996), was a Jewish Hungarian mathematician from Budapest, Hungary. He was the most prolific mathematician in terms of papers in the 20th century.
Only spare underwear and a notebook in a worn briefcase. He reportedly continued solving mathematical problems while wandering worldwide.
