A flip-flop (FF) circuit is a logic circuit that can temporarily hold (remember) information, the basis of binary notation, in a “0” or “1” state, and is a fundamental element of sequential circuits. The circuit configurations and truth tables of RS-FF circuits, which hold their output in a reset (R) or set (S) state, and JK-FF circuits are explained.
