All “carbonado,” the mineral called black diamond, including the Enigma, formed 3.8–2.6 billion years ago, but its formation mechanism remains mysterious. Jet-black, opaque, and full of holes, it has unique physical and chemical characteristics distinguishing it from other diamonds. Carbonado has been found only in Brazil and the Central African Republic.https://scrapbox.io/files/65e946da8f372a0026884ff6.jpeg #word
