The NDAA-compliant, ITAR-free Boson long-wave infrared (LWIR) OEM thermal camera module has established a standard for size, weight, power consumption, and performance (SWaP). With Teledyne FLIR’s advanced image-processing technology and multiple industry-standard communication interfaces, Boson can support everything from firefighting to unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), security, and automotive development kits at power consumption as low as 600mW. 12µm Uncooled detectors are available in 2 resolutions, 640×512 or 320×256, with multiple frame-rate options. Radiometric models allow absolute temperature measurement. Also available in multiple lens configurations, Boson offers Teledyne FLIR's broadest range of LWIR models and outstanding flexibility for integration programs. The easy-to-use Boson SDK, user-friendly GUI, and comprehensive product integration documentation further simplify integration into OEM high-level systems.
