Data moshing is a digital art technique that intentionally corrupts video compression data to create surreal, melting, or glitchy visual effects, often by removing or manipulating I-frames (complete images) or P-frames (difference data) to confuse the video encoder and merge footage in unexpected ways, used in art, music videos, and experimental film for its unique aesthetic.
