Born in 1930. After working at the Asahi Shimbun and Keio University’s Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, became president of the Gifu Prefectural International Academy of Media Arts and Sciences in 96/4. Has written numerous books on science and art, including “Coordinates of Beauty,” “Mandala of Form,” “Natural History of Play,” “Journey along Boundaries,” “Between Science and Art,” and “Corridor of Images.” Also organized the “Sensitive Chaos” and “Paul DeMarinis” exhibitions at ICC in 97.

1930年生まれ.朝日新聞社,慶應義塾大学環境情報学部をへて,96年4月,岐阜県立国際情報科学芸術アカデミー学長に就任.「美の座標」「かたち曼陀羅」「遊びの博物誌」「境界線の旅」「科学と芸術の間」「イメージの回廊」など,サイエンスとアートに関する多数の著作がある.97年にはICCにて「センシティヴ・カオス」展,「ポール・デマリーニス」展の企画も行なっている.
