| Event: Beyond 2045 vol.2 December 19, 2025 / 21:00-23:30 FIL, Daikanyama, Tokyo Hosts: Nao Tokui and Daito Manabe Role: VJ: Keigo Yoshida About Beyond 2045: Beyond 2045は、徳井直生氏と真鍋大度氏がホストを務める、AIと音楽の関係を多角的に考察するトーク＆パフォーマンス・シリーズです。 2015年に始まった実験的イベント「2045」の系譜を受け継ぎ、生成AIが広く普及した現在において、人間が音楽をつくる意味と「生成AIの先」にある創造性を問い直す場として2025年に始動しました。 Beyond 2045 is a talk and performance series hosted by Nao Tokui and Daito Manabe, examining the relationship between AI and music from multiple perspectives. Building on the experimental event “2045,” which began in 2015, the series launched in 2025 as a forum for reconsidering what it means for humans to make music, and the creativity that lies beyond generative AI in an era of its widespread adoption. About vol.2: 第2回は、ベルリンを拠点にサウンド、AI、データ倫理を横断するアーティスト／研究者Portrait XOをゲストに迎えて開催されました。 Portrait XOとコラボレーターのAndreas Tegnanderは、過去100年の気候データを音と映像へ変換するライブA/V作品「The Cost of Connection」を上演。ジェスチャーによる操作やNeutoneを含むAIツールを用い、気候変動、倫理的なAI、サステナビリティを身体的・感覚的に捉えるパフォーマンスを展開しました。 プログラムはトークとライブパフォーマンスに加え、ホストとゲストによるDJセットで構成されました。 The second edition welcomed Portrait XO, an artist and researcher based in Berlin whose work spans sound, AI, and data ethics. Portrait XO and collaborator Andreas Tegnander presented “The Cost of Connection,” a live A/V work that translates climate data from the past 100 years into sound and imagery. Using gesture control and AI tools including Neutone, their performance approached climate change, ethical AI, and sustainability through embodied and sensory experience. The program included talks and live performances, along with DJ sets by the hosts and guests. Visuals by Keigo Yoshida: 吉田慧悟はイベントのVJを担当。モノクロームの人物像を変形・重層化した映像と、線形の抽象図形を組み合わせ、身体とデジタルイメージの境界が揺らぐ視覚表現を展開しました。 Keigo Yoshida served as the event’s VJ. He combined distorted and layered monochrome figures with abstract forms made of lines, creating visuals in which the boundary between bodies and digital images appeared to shift. |
