Keigo Yoshida served as VJ for Nao Tokui’s live performance using Project LYDIA, a joint research project by Neutone and Roland Future Design Lab. In this performance, Nao Tokui combined AI audio generation in real time with physical interaction, directly connecting sound, the body, and technology. Keigo Yoshida provided the stage visuals. The event “Milian Mori / Resonance” centered on Milian Mori, who releases work through Raster Media, with a program bringing together techno and experimental approaches to AI, audiovisual expression, and embodiment. Project LYDIA is an experimental audio effect jointly developed by Roland Future Design Lab and Neutone, exploring neural sampling with AI in a hardware format. With Neutone’s engine for real-time timbre transformation, “Morpho,” at its core, it incorporates AI models trained by artists themselves and a pedal interface for intuitive control, demonstrating the possibilities of an “AI instrument.” Lineup: ROOM 1: Milian Mori (Live), Nao Tokui, Sakuma, Lisa Mizuno ROOM 2: ASTMA, Kai (Mural), Reo Anzai, Kaibshr |
