Romanticism was an intellectual movement arising chiefly in Europe from the late 18th to early 19th centuries and later in regions influenced by Europe. Opposing the previous emphasis on reason and rationalism, this series of movements prioritized sensibility and subjectivity, forming a counterpart to classicism. https://scrapbox.io/files/649bd4ea9ba99f001c19a8ff.png
