A villa (detached imperial palace) of the Hachijonomiya (Katsuranomiya) family in Nishikyo Ward, Kyoto, built in the early Edo period. Prince Toshihito (Japanese reading: Toshihito) of Hachijonomiya began construction around 1615 (Genna 1), and it was largely completed around 1650 (Keian 3) during his son Prince Toshitada's (Japanese reading: Toshitada) time.
