Immanuel Kant was a Prussian philosopher and philosophy professor at the University of Königsberg. Publishing the three Critiques—Critique of Pure Reason, Critique of Practical Reason, and Critique of Judgment—he advocated critical philosophy and brought the so-called “Copernican turn” to epistemology.
