British astronomer Sir Arthur Stanley Eddington (1882–1944), in a 1938 lecture (Tarner lecture) at Trinity College, University of Cambridge, stated that the total number of protons in the universe is exactly 136×2^256 and that the total number of electrons is the same. #physics
