AGI (strong AI) must pass the Turing test. However, Marcus du Sautoy says the Turing test cannot reveal whether artificial intelligence creates something original. He therefore proposes the Lovelace test, named after Ada Lovelace. In the Lovelace test, artificial intelligence must create something entirely original and valuable. Its creativity must also be a black box even to the developers who created it. #machinelearning
