Combining a low-arousal store scent (lavender) with slow-tempo music led to higher evaluations than combining it with high-arousal music. Alternatively, when the store smelled of grapefruit (a high-arousal scent) rather than lavender, playing fast-tempo music had a better effect on approach behavior. #sound
