“Annihilation,” causing a huge explosion on contact: When matter and antimatter meet, they cancel each other and instantly disappear (annihilation). At that moment, according to Einstein's formula E=mc², 100% of the mass is converted into pure energy (such as light). This energy-conversion efficiency far exceeds even nuclear fusion and reaches about 10 billion times that of chemical combustion.
