Zapateado (Spanish: zapateado). A dance of Spain's Andalusia region and its music. Foot-stamping in 6/8 time. Zapateado is a flamenco piece belonging to the group of polyrhythms, in which multiple different rhythms are performed simultaneously. It is one of flamenco's typical dances.
