“Chaoid” has chiefly the following 2 meanings depending on context. 1. A concept in contemporary philosophy (Gilles Deleuze’s thought). A concept proposed by French philosophers Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari in their coauthored What Is Philosophy? and elsewhere. Meaning “something born from chaos,” it refers to “artworks” or “scientific/philosophical concepts” themselves, translating the chaotic world (chaos) into forms humans can sense and organize.
