Acoustic streaming is a steady flow of fluid elements arising when powerful ultrasound is irradiated into a fluid. The driving force arises from absorption and attenuation of sound energy accompanying ultrasound propagation, so it becomes stronger at higher frequencies. Generally, acoustic streaming is clearly observed in frequency ranges of the order of MHz or above. #physics
