https://www.ntticc.or.jp/ja/feature/2005/Live_icucwc/index_j.html A live performance has been arranged featuring Ryuichi Sakamoto, visiting Japan for his “PLAYING THE PIANO/05” tour, Carsten Nicolai, visiting for a new installation at Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media, and artists belonging to Nicolai's label “raster-noton.” The Sakamoto + Nicolai collaboration released “insen” (raster-noton), their 2nd work as a piano-and-computer duo under the name Alva Noto/Ryuichi Sakamoto, in March this year, and has just undertaken a European tour this October. In this live performance, artists from raster-noton will join the 2 for an improvised session using laptops. Please look forward to it.
